Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Taqwo mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The ServiceTaqwo is an Islamic prayer companion providing calculated prayer times, qibla direction, dhikr and adhkar tools, prayer tracking, and related features. The App can be used free of charge, with optional premium features available through a paid subscription or one-time purchase ("Taqwo Pro").

2. Important Disclaimer — Prayer TimesPrayer times and qibla direction in the App are calculated algorithmically based on your location and the calculation method you select. While we strive for accuracy, results may differ slightly from your local mosque or religious authority due to calculation methods, local conventions, and device factors. For religiously critical timings (such as the start of fasting or prayer validity), please verify with your local mosque or religious authority. The App is a convenience tool and is not a substitute for official religious guidance.

3. AccountsAn account is optional. If you sign in with Apple, you are responsible for the security of your Apple ID. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete Account, which permanently removes your synced data.

4. Taqwo Pro (Subscriptions and Purchases)Taqwo Pro is available as an auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through your Apple ID.Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.If a subscription lapses, premium features lock again, but your data is never deleted.

5. Acceptable UseYou agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or resell the App or its content, or attempt to circumvent its premium features.

6. Intellectual PropertyThe App, including its design, code, audio, and imagery, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights other than the personal right to use the App.

7. Disclaimer of WarrantiesThe App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. Notification delivery depends on your device settings and operating system behavior and cannot be guaranteed.

8. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, including reliance on calculated prayer times or missed notifications.

9. Changes to the Service and TermsWe may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
